About Dr. Siman

Dr. Deborah Siman was born in El Salvador and immigrated to the US as a young child. She grew up in Miami and enjoys being part of a large family.

She received her bachelor in biology from the University of Miami and decided to remain locally for medical school and her residency training. She completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in 2002.

She has stayed involved in the alumni association of her residency program, where she has been elected president twice in the last ten years. She recently was awarded the distinguished alumni award in April 2013. She also stays involved as a board member in the Miami Ob/Gyn Society.

Dr. Siman is board-certified and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology. She has been on staff at South Miami Hospital and a part of Ob-Gyn Specialists of South Miami since 2002. She is dedicated to her patients and enjoys quality time with her son.
